Calm waist high protected waters, beautiful views of Basse Terre s mountainous southern tip and beautiful people everywhere. Enough English is spoken to get by even if you don't speak French. If you get hungry here, try the mussels and fries. Fantastique !

It's a but more crowded than some other beaches but it's fun to people watch. Great for families with young kids - the water is relatively shallow. Plenty of food and drink options right on the beach.

This beach is the most popular beach for tourists in Guadeloupe.... not necessarily the best. It's crowded, noisy and busy.

Very nice beach with clear water. No waves. Ideal for people scared of swimming. Nice spot to relax.

The best beach on the island, the shops are about a 30meter walk where you can grab a drink of any kind, and walk it back to your spot on the beach! Crystal clear and gorgeous!

St Anne Beach is a fun little visit. Check out some of the small stalls and food huts along the shore.

Many of the beaches in Guadeloupe have many submerged rocks and coral, not the case here. Ongoing kite surfing competition was a blast to watch.

We parked several blocks away, went to the flea market, ATM and back to the car. No place to sit on the beach.
