It is one of the most beautiful nature park I have ever seen. It recalls a bit Halong Bay in Vietnam. The trip is made by motor boat with passage through several islands where you can see pelicans, frigates and other birds. Also visit the...More

Make sure you like being on the water. The majority of the tour is spent getting to and from the National Park. Although we saw caves and a few birds, this was not the awe inspiring nature tour we were led to believe it would...More

The journey by boat is a mixed process; a bit disingenuous; Srs. Should avoid this tour as the ride and walking, plus crappy lunch is for naive young folk.

The boat ride is about 35 minutes from La Samana. I get sea sick but didn't when we went because the ocean was very calm that day. The boat we were on help over 60 passengers which probably helped.
