We had our hotel call Don Lucas and pick us up free of charge to take us to this location. It is a complex with Don Lucas Cigars, a rum factory, chocolate factory, coffee shop, and gift shop. We were given a free demonstration of how they make cigars-this was realyl neat. And they offered everyone a free cigar to... More

This place was pretty awesome, they have a bunch of different things to try and experience. If you dont lilke one of the options then you can simply go to another without the rest of the group...we preferred the rum so we spent most of the time enjoying the various options they have. If you enjoy good rum i suggest... More

We had a good trip to Don Lucas. I don't do cigars so that part was neither here nor there for me but it was informational. The different small tastings were fun though and there were some cute cats wandering around *laugh*. It was a nice short excursion to get us out and about and to learn a few things.

I had heard great things about the Don Lucas Cigars so I went on the tour by myself. The resort I was at set up the pickup time (which is free) and they were there on time. I recommend getting there a little early as they atop at several resorts. Once we got there we did the cigar tour which... More

I really enjoyed the shop, the demonstration, and the tour. I'm just disappointed because the same cigars that they let me taste for free that burned perfectly, fell apart the first time I tried to smoke one at home.

A very enjoyable two hour tour. We really enjoyed the cigar factory, rum bar and chocolate tour. Worth the time. Bring some money as you'll want to bring home a few gifts.

Very nice side trip for cigar smokers or not. Free transportation to and from hotel. NO pressure to buy anything. Cigar factory is small but informative. You are offered a free cigar to smoke while there. The prices on Don Lucas Cigars are fair but on the high side. Forget Cuban or Name Brand Non Cuban cigars. Prices are ridiculously... More

Our Amstar rep informed us of free shuttle service twice daily to Don Lucas Cigars, and are we ever glad we went! This was a free trip/tour and only lasted about an hour/hour & a half. We toured and learned about the Don Lucas Cigar factory, toured the humidor room, visited the large souvineer shop (credit-card safe and no negotiating... More

Contacted them directly thru the web page, set up for the same day. Picked us up and we spent two hours sampling Cigars, Rum, Chocolate and Coffee while learning how they are made. Tours are offered in many languages and although the tour is free we couldn't help but pick up most of our souvenirs while we were there. You... More
