Lots of swimming is required. The tour guides are funny and if you can't swim no problem because they take extra care of you if you can't.

Both times I was there I rented water shoes. You should have shoes to hike uo there unless you go barefoot ALL the time and yiur feet are tough. The falls are great fun.

I've used a few different companies and the all seemed the same. I even once just took a Taxi up there and that was a lot of fun.
