We went to 12 water Falls (Damajagua river) with Marysol tours while our ship stayed in Amber Cove. Visiting all 27 would take whole day, not possible for cruisers. Carnival offered only 7 falls and at almost double price, so we were happy to find...More

I had gone to this place like 10 years when I was less organized. Now is a major tourist destination and has not lost the appeal one bit. Still naturally beautiful but A LOT SAFER AND FUN!

We booked this ourselves, not with Carnival Cruises - SO MUCH CHEAPER AND BETTER. Got a cab right from the pier to the waterfalls. The cabbie stayed there all day and waited to drive us back to the ship. Paid $100 for 4 of us...More

I went there many years ago, I remember it was definitively a good experience, although I recommend it to people relatively healthy, if you have got surgery not long time ago or you are on advanced age part of the journey mightn't be suitable for...More

It was about a 45 minute hike to get to the first waterfall, some of it uphill, but totally worth it. We did all 27 of the falls, which took about 3 hours. You can either jump or slide down them, depending on the configuration...More

I absolutely loved this adventure. It’s a 45 minute walk uphill (not that challenging as it may seem) beautiful scenery along the way, and absolutely breathtaking going down. Im not very fond of heights, but this is so worth it. Get this on your to-do...More

Staff was very helpful. Pictures turned out great as well. However the hike to the falls is quite intense.

It's cheaper by far to hire a taxi to take you vs an excursion. Use Ismael Vasquez, he's amazing. You can find him on Trip Advisor.

Yes they have lockers there. Yes you have to wear the jackets at all times. A bit uncomfortable but some of the jumps the water is deep so it is for there safety and yours. Hope this helps
