This is supposedly the first cathederal in the Americas. It certainly is quite old and has some beautiful artifacts. Not being Catholic I probably don't appreciate it as much as one could but it is still lovely and worth the visit.
Santa Maria la Menor the first cathedral built in the Americas is a must. The whole Colonial City is a very interesting and fun experience. Just make sure there is no mass when visiting. Feel the history of the discovery of the American Continent.
This cathedral is one of the oldest in the western hemisphere and it was built back in the sixteen century and is still active. its architecture is beautiful and very impressive. don't miss going inside for a small amount of money.

Yes this the first Catholic Church in all America, founded in 1512. It's very impressive and interesting, should be in better condition but our government dont take care of our most valuable and historical resources.
