Most of the day is spent in the vehicle, with a guide pointing out different trees and the private baseball academies. We have a better understanding of the local agriculture. Lunch not until 2 p.m.

The dirt road are bumpy. It probably takes skill to drive stick shift Jeep on up and down hill. I understand the message but sugar cane stop is a bit waste of time. Prices are way too high for souvenirs during the gift shop stop....More

this is a great way to see around town and learn more about the Dominican culture and history. visited a sugar plantation, local market, cock fight, private waterfall etc

We took a safari trip during our recent stay in the DR. Visited a sugar cane plantation, local farm (cocoa, tropical fruit), tobacco museum, saw a [brief] cock (rooster :-) fight, and many other things. Included zip-lines, horseback ride and a trip to Macao Beach....More

we just got back--they picked us up at the hotel....the adventure was phenomenal--highly recommended..
