We enjoyed the museo Del hombre Dominicano. It was very interesting to see the Taino and carnival pieces in particular. The audio guide was a good attempt but wasn’t very useful as we struggled to get it to work. The staff, however were very friendly.

Went to visit Museo del Hombre Dominicano. Was surprised it was so quiet but they had major attractions there. A lot of construction in the plaza when I went. Not that many places to eat around there. Also very close to metro.

Definitely a must stop! So much history and culture! I could spend all day here! We went on a Monday and didn't seem to be too crowded. Loved the arts exhibits

A little expensive (re DR prices), a shorter time than advertised, good just to orientate yourself to the city and decide where you wish to go back for a better look. I would recommend taking a personal guide-not expensive but gives more information etc.
