We visited the Emerald Pool at the Morne Trois National Park using a private hire taxi for the day. From Roseau it was less than an hour drive, our driver Wendel was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, trustworthy older gentleman so we felt very safe, it was a very beautiful and scenic drive that overlooks lush green forests and valleys very... This was a blast. It was raining most of the morning, so the falls were really rolling. The trail is gravel lined and actually well groomed. Short walk to the falls but the walk is very scenic. We were the only ones to hike off the trail to go in. All the cruise ship tourists stayed up at the observation... More

This required quite a trek through a gorgeous rainforest with stairs and hills... to get into the cool pool you should wear surf socks or water shoes and take caution as the rocks move a bit when you first get in. The current is strong so you must take care if you venture into the actual pool right by the... More

I guess you just have to expect to get wet when you visit a rainforest, so don't worry about it if it's raining when you get here. The do sell ponchos, but we didn't bother. Umbrellas were in use, but they seemed like they would have been cumbersome. Pathways to the Pool are well maintained and offered good footing, even... More

Very plasant, very green, very nice. It takes just a short walk in the forest on a paved path so the scenery is doable in flip flops and bikini, very nice!

Emerald pool is a wonderful place to visit while in Grenada. It's $5 to check it out and a gorgeous walk to the falls with beautiful rain forest to take in on the way. The pool isn't huge and one must be careful getting into and moving around in the pool. The ripples make it challenging to clearly see the... More

This is another Dominica attraction that I think is very cool and worthwhile, but not a must do (not with such other cool stuff on this island).

You need a site pass to get here. It's only $14 USD and lasts a week to get you in to different places on the island. Emerald Pool has max 15 minute hike but is very easy for anyone to hike. Once you walk down the hill and see this waterfall cascading into a blue pool of water you'll want... More

You can enter the pool with the weekly pass... there is a little bar to eat and drink. You walk on a nice path down to the pool and passing 2 viewing points. In low season it's a private pool :). Easy acces to the pool by steps.
