Went here as part of a cruise tour. Was worth the time and effort. Beautiful falls into the pool with a large cavern in the face behind the falls. There are a moderate number of steps down and up to get there, so not handicapped accessible. Snack bar at entrance will make you a sandwich while you do the self... More

Emerald Pool is beautiful indeed. If you are less adventurous, this is a great waterfall to visit. The trail is concrete and well-maintained. You will share your experience with other people as a result. Unlike some other falls nearby, there are signs of people everywhere: stacks of rocks, initials carved into the green moss on the rocks. That sort of... More

This place can be secluded and romantic. Its a short walk and fairly easy since its well maintained and proper walkways. Trust me you will not regret going to this pool. A nice evening experience.

It was pouring rain on our drive up, but luckily the rain receded when we got there. They say that it was in the rainforest, so we should expect that it would rain. We were afraid that the path would be muddy and slippery, but it turned out that it was not. The path was constructed in such a way,... More

We hiked the short nature hike to emerald pool. The scenery was incredible and the waterfall superb! The hike is not overly strenuous and definitely worth every minute. Take the time to go behind the waterfall!

Beautiful walk through a rainforest to this beautiful little waterfall and natural swimming pool! Breathtaking views from a couple platforms along a little longer path back to the gift/information center. Only $5 to this lovely park!

I enjoyed the hike down to the Pool even though it was raining. The path is steep but the steps are well made and the hand railings allow for safe passage. The water of the Emerald Pool is cold and refreshing. I highly recommend a wade or a swim in the pool.

This place is very easy to get too with a well maintained path. The falls are beautiful but be aware if there has been a lot of rain it will be a brown pool with raging falls that is too dangerous to swim in. Still worth the visit though.
