After a bumpy ride up a narrow road, it's a good walk to the Trafalgar Falls but well worth the visit. The climate is humid and damp making the scenery wonderful and lush and a true tropical paradise. The scale of the two falls cannot be shared with a photograph and I would agree that this is one of the... More

One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Dominica, definitely a 'must see' when visiting this island. There are two waterfalls – the "Father" (the larger fall on the left) and the "Mother" (smaller fall on the right).

A very short walk from the car park and gov't pass ($5/day; $20/wk) required. You can challenge the boulders if you are up to it and find the occasional pool to soak in. Local "guides" will coax you to go to the top but I do not recommend. If able, you can do it yourself; if not, you'll waste time... More

Trafalgar Falls was one of the destinations a part of our group tour we took. Once we got to the trail we hiked probably 10 - 15 minutes up the trail. People always say, " Come on you can do it, it will be worth it once you get to the top of the trail". And this was one of... More

Alvin a local and I had a great time climbing up the rocks to the bottom of the falls. Although it is challenging worth the effort when you get up. The falls on the right have a great pool at the bottom that you can swim in. Water is refreshing on a hot day. Rocks can be slippery so climb... More

We visited this waterfall subsequent to the gorge and falls at Titou. The water seemed warmer than at Titou but that's not saying much, LOL. Unlike the falls at Titou this waterfall is accessed by a short hike and does not require swimming to reach. It's beautiful and is definitely worth a visit.

After a short hike to the beautiful falls we enjoyed a refreshing swim in the pool below. It was a pleasant surprise to find mountain sourced water that didn't turn you blue!

Trafalgar Falls actually consists of two very large waterfalls. The hike is very well maintained and accessible to all. It's hard to get a sense of scale of how large they are, but look for people scrambling down on the rocks in the pictures. It's not recommended to go out on the rocks unless you are agile on your feet.... More
