I would say the gardens here are better than the botanical gardens. A small fee, I think $5USD to take this 15minute walk, or however long you choose, to see an unbelievable array of a vast variety of tropical flowers. Some I'm sure are quite unique based on the fertile soil and abundance of rainfall in this area. Great stop... More

Ther is so much to see and a professional guide makes all the difference. There are also hot pools in which you can have a dip and a good, shady restaurant overdoing the gardens. Highly recommended.

This is on for the bucket list. In the book 1000 places to go before you die. It is an absolutely beautiful place. Started by an American woman years ago. Rebuilt after Hurricane Erika. You can do a tour which I highly recommend. So much information. So may beautiful plants, birds and waterfalls. Do take the time to make a... More

The owner and creator, Anne, has made an incredible garden surrounding her hotel and restaurant. Almost all of the species to be found on Dominica are here, as well as hot pools and a delightful and attentive staff.

We were on a cruise and stopped off in Dominica for the day. I would highly recommend going to the local Tourist Office which is just opposite the dock, and asking for Peter St John (he is the brother of the lady who works in there). He took us to the Waterfalls, keeping us informed along the way about all... More

After visiting the falls Papillote was the perfect place to relax and get something to eat. The scenery was outstanding and it really was like being in an island paradise, relaxing and truly mesmerising. If you eat in the restaurant try to get a table at the back overlooking the gardens. Here you can enjoy traditional island fare whilst enjoying... More

Lovely gardens, but hard to get to without a car. Definitely call in advance, as we dropped by without warning and the kitchen was closed. They still kindly made us a sandwich (tasty) and cocktails, but it would have been nice to have the whole experience.

Such a pretty garden with so many exquisite flowers, birds, trees, and local plants. If you love birds and gardens you're going to love this place. Get there early enough so you can soak in the baths, go from hot to cold and back again. So soothing and romantic!

We stayed at Papillote and spent hours roaming through the gardens. If you're a flower lover or a humming bird fan, you've hit gold here.

We visited Papilot after visiting Trafalgar falls. We stayed for lunch only and the tropical views of mountains and fauna were amazing.
