An ancient sea-bed, huge coral skeleton, tree that cannot grow over the rocks because of the wind, little small vegetation shows that life always finds a way.
So different nature here comparing ot the south side of the island. So much lives around barren rocks....More
I actually hesitated going to this National Park. I thought, "why go to this desolate looking place when I can spend every moment on the beautiful beaches of the island." I decided to check it out anyway, and it was honestly the highlight of my...More
Absolutely stunning example of nature and the power of the sea! The power and color of the water crashing against the gorgeous rocky northern coast of Curacao was awesome.

Attended with wife and 5 month old child. It is not stroller friendly and quite rocky. You can wear sandals however shoes are better suited for the walking. There are 4 main spots to check out various park attractions. Lots of lizards and crabs roaming...More

Popular area, but easy to see why. The power of the ocean is easily seen when the tall waves smash into the cliffs and inlets. Spend the day or just a quick side trip, this is worth the short drive from the highway.
Spent the morning Feb 17 at Shete Boka. Beautiful Park, natural, rugged ... great trails. Total of 4 sites / areas to see and explore. Natural nature. Trails are easily walkable for all ages. Suggest going in the morning as it gets very hot.

I was just there last month. I believe there was a couple in front of me and either age 3 or 5 and under was free. The park has great views. If you can, rent a car in Caraco to see the west end of the island (the beaches are way better here as well)! It's worth it! For the cost you will pay for taxi's and tours, you would have paid way less for a car. Enjoy!

Personally I would not do that, it is really out of the way and you also need to get back. Taxi will probably charge 50 dollar one way at least and not sure if one will be there when you want to leave. renting a car can cost... More
Personally I would not do that, it is really out of the way and you also need to get back. Taxi will probably charge 50 dollar one way at least and not sure if one will be there when you want to leave. renting a car can cost 25 dollar for a day, much cheaper and really easy to find with maps.me, free app that doesnt need wifi. a reliable taxi is Dushi taxi, Natasja Gibbs, +59995168863. She has a van that fit a group plus diving equipment. Good luck and enjoy!
