Very crowded beach, nonetheless great for snorkeling and fun place for kids and couples to hang out. There are a lot of bars to get refreshments.

We preferred Moomba Beach for shops, ambiance and food selection. Overall we felt it was over rated.

We had visited some beaches on the west side. We knew it wouldn't quite be the same here, but it was worse than we expected. It was a crowded, small beach. Not much chance of finding shade as all of the cabanas were reserved (even...More

The beach has a great group of varied beach cafes, bars, etc. that are all still quite nice and well maintained. The beach itself seemed only so so.

This place is awesome. We got off the ship and asked our Taxi driver to take us to a nice family beach with food/beverage service and bathroom facilities. He said he had the perfect spot. Jan Thiel beach was amazing. I will retire here someday....More

Nice beach with outdoor showers, activities, & shops. Restaurants are extremely expensive, and slow service can make a meal take hours. Zani Bar pizzas (next to Zanibar restaurant) are reasonable & very good. Take water. Good for families.

Yes you will need a day pass, not expensive at all. I from a place (BRAZIL) where beaches are free of charge and I delighted paid for it. Not that far, but I advice to rent a car once buses will not reach it. Renting a car... More
