These caves were formed by water dissolving the ground of Cuba which is made of sand and salt. It is worth an hour or two of your time.

We stopped in just after they closed but the gentleman let us in anyways. It is a small cave but we really enjoyed it. Very interesting and beautiful.

Sorry for the delay, we stayed at the Royalton hicacos which was a short walk to the caves. The cost was approx 5 kuks

Just take the bus $5 CUCs per person for the bus. And $5 for entry. The guide will give you a tour and explain what the caves were used for and some history of the island.
