The Ferry leaves from the Malecon and costs a mere dollar. A nice relaxing trip to spend a most of a day. They say the ride is about 10 mins but really is more like a half and hour so make sure to allow time...More

Be warned! Don't get fooled by the owners of this restaurant. Avoid this place, Especially if you are the only guests. We were here late May 2018 in low season, and were the only guests probably on the whole island that day. Foolishly we let...More

Come here to see how Cuba was about fifty years ago! Veranda-houses, few restaurants and a lot of flowers! You have to take the ferry from the mainland.

we enjoyed a couple of hours here - walking round the island and a snack at the cafe by the ferry. It's just quiet and pretty with old house, quiet paths and lovely views.

We had a meal here after a short trip on a catamaran. The seafood was pretty good. It was a good way to be a little cooler on a hot day.

Grandma Island is the only island here other than Cuba itself, and serves largely as a place for fishermen to live and work. We went out on a small ferry to one of the several restaurants. This gives you a good view of the harbour...More
