Nice place to try to catch a breeze and some cool water. When we were there, they were offering whole roast pig to eat. I would say definitely a locals hangout.

We went here on a day trip from Santiago city. While the lush topography surrounding the beach is lovely, and it is the Caribbean so it's warm enough to swim there, it's not the most comfy strand to spend time at in Cuba. Super pebbly,...More

Don't expect a white sand beach and palm trees typical of the north shores of Cuba. It's all right, but it is closer to an Ontario beach than a Caribbean one: pebbled, with a handful of umbrellas and loungers available for rent, a small snack...More

We rented a scooter in Santiago wanting to get out of town and in nature. Because of this beach we almost ended up renting a place on the east mountain side. Some amazing houses overlook this mighty amazing bay. But everything was occupied. This is...More

30 min drive from Santiago downtown. Rocky beach, but not bad for snorkeling. There is a shipwreck and somewhat of corals to take a look. Not busy, locals are present rather than tourists. Locals bring food, drinks if you wish. There is a sandwich container...More

If you are in Santiago de Cuba and crave a little beach time, then head out like a local by a collectivo (CUP20) to Siboney Beach (20 min). It's quite charming though don't expect the white sands of the Atlantic side beaches. You can rent...More

Rocky and difficult. About 20 minutes drive from Santiago, Siboney is very rocky with black, pebbly sand. Great service for beach umbrellas, food and drink

This is an OK beach if you want to get out of the city - but its not your typical Caribbean sandy beach. There are lots of rocks and gravel but the water is very nice and on weekends there can be a lot of...More

I did not come close to the beautiful beach. Rather because it is used by locals who are very nice, loud and cheerful.

Doubtful. It's mostly a local beach. You could probably get a cold beer. There is no "formal" restaurant/cafe right on the beach. w
