This is the place to learn about and especially buy one of Cuba's finest produce next to Havana Club - the cigars. Here's a great variety, the prices are reasonable - and you can smoke as much as you want inside the shop. No health problems here! Have a rhum, too; enjoy life as if it never ends - the... More

Do not be fooled by the locals blocking your way to get in the place. They are trying to get you to walk around the side of the building and sell you their own brand of cigars. Go around these people and go in, and you will see how amazing the four stories of ruinous factory must have been. The... More

This was an interesting but disorganized visit. It required a ticket that you could not buy on premises so required an agent and a tip to have someone go buy you a ticket. Many people just slipped in for free. Not sure I'd do it again or even recommend but got some interesting information about the process.

We found the staff helpful and we were able to get advice where we needed it too. I bought all the Cuban cigars I wanted during my visit and they were reasonably priced. They also gave me special packaging to make sure I was able to transport them home without damaging them.

The do NOT sell tickets at the new location so buy them in an agency at a major hotel. We wound up paying someone 5 CUCs to taxi somewhere and buy us 5 tixs at 10CUC each. Never saw the tickets and some reviews here indicate the tixs are 5CUCs at the Hotel Saratoga so plan ahead. It's an interesting... More

We walked to the Old Partagas Cigar Factory behind the Capitolio. Upon arriving I was told that the factory had moved and there were a slew of Bike Taxi's waiting to shuttle tourists. He said it would cost 10 CUC and we jumped in! Our driver shuttled us over to the Saratoga Hotel. Once inside I went into the "San... More

This is a must for any tourist in Cuba. See them select leaves and roll them up. The shop is where you'll want to buy your boxes to take home now that the laws allow you unlimited cigars!

When they say the cigars are handmade, they aren't kidding. Old school techniques with old word facilities still at play today. Worth a trip for sure.
