Took a 2 hour ride from Veradero to get here. Easily the best thing I did while in Cuba. Got to dive twice. Saw a couple wrecks and quite a few fish as well. Also a good spot to snorkel if you can't dive. The...More

Unless you are very interested in the history and can read Spanish, there isn't much more than a museum. On the site there is now a big hotel. But the museum was interesting and worth the stop for those interested in learning the Cuban perspective...More

Don't miss out if you're in Cuba, go swimming and for sure go snorkling here, its absolutely beautiful. Clear water, colourful fish and coral reef, and if you go to the right place there is a bar on the waters edge.

The museum at Playa Giron is worth a detour. It gives reasonable insight into the CIA led invasion thru a series of photos and decommisoned weaponry. There is a Cadeca opposite.

Worthwhile to see the quiet blue bay that was the scene of US aggression almost 60 years ago. On the highway to Cienfuegos the coastline now offers a cenote swim on the inland side at Cueva de Los Peces and a brief dip in the...More

Try Intrepid. They have great guides and if you are lucky enough to get Valarie you'll get an excellent history lesson too. He was a school teacher before becoming a guide and we found him fantastic. There is a museum worth... More
