The best place I have snorkelled so far in my lifetime!

In mid-January 2017, my wife and I were on a Southern Caribbean cruise visiting the ABC (Aruba-Bonaire-Curacao) group of Islands. We only had one day in Bonaire and normally, we look to find a beach that has good snorkelling and that is not full of tourists and tourist activities (jet skis, etc.). After reading about the various beaches on the... More

We took a watertaxi about a 5 minute walk from the port to get to klein bonaire. the cost was about 10 USD per person they bring you there and come pick you back up. Bring your own snorkeling gear unless you go with a tour operator. There are no changing facilities or anything out there so bring your own... More

This place is a hidden gem. There are no amenities. But wow. It is a gorgeous island with great snorkeling and scuba diving. You don't need to swim. If you have goggles, you can put your face in the water and see a variety of fish. We love this place.

We went here with an excursion from Royal Caribbean. The water was amazing, it was warm and had great visibility. The coral and fish were stunning. If you snorkel this is the perfect site. The beach is beautiful too. Very much an untouched look at nature.

.... but nice to look at and helps add contrast to photos. Can't be missed on the approach to Bonaire from the sea - do have a look BUT a bit pointless in going there !! The small island area is uninhabited but I did wonder why - it really would be an ideal sollution in getting away from everything.... More

We spent some time here whilst in port for the day on a cruise ship. The ferry costs US$15 round trip per person and leaves every 2 hours or so. Unfortunately it was quite windy the day we were there, so sitting on the beach was not very pleasant. The beach is lovely though - lots of sand, beautiful turquoise... More

Take a ship tour or private boat across to this amazing island with an AMAZING BEACH !! ** No bathrooms** but that was fine ... run into the bushes!! The snorkeling was FANTASTIC on both sized of where you will be dropped off on the beach. Water entry only but you are going to get wet anyway. We spent the... More

Our pre-booked excursion was cancelled, so we took a water taxi out to the small island to No Name Beach (that's the actual name). It is a fairly long beach, though not very wide. There are no hotels, roads, bathrooms, billboards or anything else that distracts from this beautiful island. There are several protected areas that are off-limits, so be... More

Take the day trip to Klein Bonaire and consider yourself in paradise. Do pack sunscreen, water, snacks, snorkel gear and towels since there is basically virgin beach once you get there. It's just beautiful and we had a great day snorkeling. Many fish and turtles here. There are boats that come for pick up a various times throughout the day.... More
