beautiful place but the island itself is bare. Great place to tour around on a boat on a sunny day. Very close to town.

We took the 20 minute Caribe Water Taxi ($20 pp r/t). Easy beach snorkeling. The best viewing it a bit beyond the yellow poles - the area to exit/enter. We did a couple drift passes of 30-40 minutes each and it was beautiful - schools of fish following us and many others that I wish I could name. I wish... More

My husband is a worried swimmer, novice snorkeler as am I, I'm just comfortable in the water. There's current here, allot of it. Walk up the beach with everyone else. It's only thigh deep or so between reef and shore, get your gear on and find a depression in the reef and swim out through it to deeper water. There's... More

Remember, this is a wildlife protected area. There are no stands no restrooms no beach chairs. And most of all no restaurants in case you are in need of refreshments. You can catch the water taxi to take you right across it is a 20 minute ride. There is a reef that goes right around the island with breaks in... More

My wife and I have done a decent amount of snorkeling throughout the Carribean, and after visiting Klein Bonaire, agree it was as good as it gets. We were on a cruise, which docked in Bonaire, took a 10 minute water taxi, and snorkled for hours. It is clear that Bonaire you a very dedicated to preserving their reefs, and... More

Klein is an idyllic beach with awesome snorkeling. BUT if you are a cruise shipper looking for a beach chair and someone to deliver beer & snacks to you, this is not the place. what you bring with you is what you have on the island. Doing the drift snorkel is an amazing experience but don't be fooled by that... More

My husband and I recently visited Klein Bonaire as a port of call on our cruise. We brought our own snorkeling gear, although many places had it available for rent and took a water taxi to the island. We stayed most of the day by drifting along the reef and looking at all the beautiful sea life! We saw trumpet... More

This is one of our favourite locations in all of the Caribbean....lots of fish, clean sand, clear water (clearer in the morning) and tons of fish. We look forward to returning next year.

Most beautiful snorkeling trip we ever experienced. Visibility was excellent. Uninhabited Island was pristine. Water taxi ride was enjoyable watching the flying fish. Encountered the most beautiful fish, purple tube coral, 2 spotted snake eels and 1 barracuda... Will definately return.

I visited Klein Island Beach in Bonaire in April 2017. This is some of the clearest and most beautiful water for snorkeling and diving although the underwater areas I saw were dead reef. There are no facilities of any kind on this accessible by boat only beach but the unspoiled location is beautiful soft white sand, turquoise waters, and wild... More
