Animal lovers will enjoy this place. Buy a few bags of carrots at the front office (I would say at least three bags), break them up and drive around the property feeding the donkeys from your car window. Very fun and the donkeys are cute....More

You can buy a large bag of carrots for $3 and the donkeys will follow your car. The sanctuary is a very large area that contains 600-700 donkeys. You drive through the area and later park where you can spend time with tame donkeys. It...More

We did this car tour twice, because we laughed so hard! The donkeys are hungry, hilarious and helping out by visiting and purchasing carrots to feed them felt great. The woman who runs the rescue is a saint, providing rescue services to hundreds of island...More

It's a great concept and you have to respect the effort. Donkeys are everywhere on Bonaire so it makes sense to have a place like this. worth a drive over to check out what they are doing.

We went to the donkey sanctuary because our dive shop said it was worth the trip. Hundreds of donkeys swarmed our pickup, jockeying for position close to the food, then incredibly gently plucked carrots 2 inches long from the lips of my daughters and munched...More

Hi. Do you know of any tour company that will take a group there. We're worried some of our older members may not like to get so close to the donkeys so a golf cart sounds a bit risky plus we don't like the idea of driving there. We're a group of 15 or so. I read it's $7 to drive thru? Is that per person/child? Thanks for your help and for what you do for the animals :)!
