The beach was located across from our hotel and we went there frequently during our stay. The water is calm and there is some good snorkeling. - Pros - Not very busy, clear water, snorkeling off rocks; - Cons - It is located on the main west coast road so it is not quiet. During high tide there is very... More

A beautiful crescent shaped beach which is very popular, especially on cruise ship days. There is a public access next to Number One Sandy Lane with roadside parking. Chairs, umbrellas and refreshments.

After some of the mixed reviews I was a little tentative about trying this beach, but I was really glad I went along one day. I thought it was one of the nicest beaches on the west coast, soft golden sand and clear blue water. Whilst parts the beach are hoarded by hotels there are still plenty of public chairs... More

Big beach, lots of watersports activity and lots of celebrity watching if this is your game. During the Christmas season, this is the place to meet and see Simon Cowell and his guests, plus Rhianna if this will make your day. Other celebrities can be found walking along the beach towards Sandy Lane

A few rocky Reef areas but lots of areas just sand so a lovely beach for swimming. Even saw Simon Cowell when walking his... More

We had lunch at the beach bar - very good with a good menu and local fresh fish. There is a bar and the atmosphere is fun and reasonable prices. The beach is lovely

The locals here were incredibly pushy, and very annoying. I was swimming 50 feet out in the water -- and I accidentally made eye contact with one of them...he then tried to sell me on something.. don't even care what it was, but it was just ridiculous lol. On the beach it was 10 times worse. Can't walk 5 feet... More

The water is crystal clear and the turtles are abundant. We always have a great time snorkeling on the island of Barbados. Amazing water and sea life.
