Great beach for watersports and swimming. Good snorkelling over rocks. Daphnes recommended for lunch. Good spot is after Treasure Beach.

We were guided to chairs ($10/each) and those were fine. But the surroundings could be better. Sand was yellowish and not white, which we have seen on the south side. (Can live with this, but wasn't a plus). Big negative was the rocky bottom and stony entrance of the water. (While white pure sand where we have been previously). Also... More

Just stopped off for a walk along the little bay, nice little beach no chairs or loungers available, stay downwind of the fish market!

I visited this beach in February and after the taxi driver getting lost on the way there we arrived to find the sea bright blue and white sand. Although the beach is narrow and points, it was not crowded even though we were there on a Saturday. You can walk along as far as you want to find a spot... More

We love this beach and prefer to rent house here. Nice sandy areas yet also some rocky areas close to shore so you can snorkel right off the beach. Two days we did and saw turtles both days. There is a roped off area too for swimming and the beach is sandy there.

The Gold, no Platinum Coast of Barbados boasts beautiful beach scenery. I like the Ministry of Agriculture Fish Market where I bought and cooked delicious tuna, billfish, congalie, and flying fish! The Roti Den is worth a visit and, if you got a load of money to spend on food and drink, drop into the Cliff Restaurant for the amazing... More

Take a cab - at this beech you usually will be met by a "minder" (vendor) who will get you to the chairs and umbrellas ($20 for two) and show you were to eat, get beer, and use the WC. Our helper (Quincy) was excellent. He pointed out the best place to snorkel (to right of swimming area), and set... More
