Pricey but nice view and food

Special occasions and not really kid friendly menu. Ask for a oceanfront view when booking. The lobster was delish. Merlot was a good choice as well.

We ate at Tides twice during our holiday and was not disappointed on either occasion. Both service and food remain in our opinion the best on the island.

We visited the tides on the recommendation of the Hotel (Cobblers Cove) and it was tremendous. It was certainly upscale (not over the top) and a wonderful atmosphere with impeccable service. What was delightful was that everyone was dressed for fine dining and that is what it was! The interior is striking and the selection wonderful. The bar is also... More

The art on show here at the Tides Gallery is very impressive; and since the refurbishment the art seems even more distinctive. Tides, though known for its fine dining, continues to showcase the creative skills of the locals, and Caribbean artists. Arrive early before you dine, so you can take in all that this Gallery has to offer ...

We took friends there last Friday night and the service was great. We enjoyed a drink in the bar before heading to our table. We have lived in Barbados for five years now and we keep saying Tides is our favourite restaurant and we know when we take someone there the experience is always the same, great!

Every time we visit Barbados we dine at The Tides Restaurant, located on the South side of Holetown. The location and ambience is just fantastic and the eclectic menu, presentation and cuisine is the very best you could wish for. There is a car parking vallet service, a fascination art galery where you can purchare pictures by local artists. Do... More
