one of the best beaches in the island lovely sands and lovely sea - if you like crashing into the waves. We visited on a Sunday and the beach was surprisingly quiet. Sun beds are not as expensive as west coast and you can get drinks and some snacks on the beach. Not really suitable if you like a leisurely... More

It's not the easiest place to find, but once you get there, you won't want to leave. Trust your GPS - when you get to a road that looks like it hits a dead end, you're there. Tuck your car to the side of the road, walk down to the end, and follow the cement circles pathway across the rocky... More

Beautiful beach "tucked" in a cove below the Crane Resort. Umbrellas, boogie boards and chairs available for rent. Water can range from calm to slightly turbulent. People were jumping from the rock ledge into the water. Fun to watch. Ledge is accessible from the west end of the beach.

The Crane Beach is absolutely stunning. This is the point where the relatively calm Caribbean Sea meets the mighty Atlantic Ocean, the waves are both beautiful and powerful so poor swimmers need to be very careful. The new lift (elevator) will bring you down to the beach and back up to The Crane quickly all the while offering you a... More

Our first trip to Barbados and the beach did not disappoint for sure. The sand is amongst the softest we have ever seen in the Caribbean, the water turquoise and clear, and the stone vistas are breathtaking. If you like front row seats at the beach (I for sure like an uninterrupted view of the ocean) get in there by... More

You reach the beach by taking an elevator down from the Crane resort. There is a bar & grill back under the palm trees and a new clean bath room building and fresh water showers to de- salt after a swim in the sea. The staff will serve you food & drinks on the beach under your umbrella or just... More

One beach is more beautiful than the next. Grab some food from Cutters and head to this beach. You will not be disappointed. Swim and take in the beauty

Crane beach is listed as one of the top best beaches in the world. While it's so beautiful and picturesque, the tides were very rough, making it difficult to enjoy the water. If you're the adventurous type, they do have a cliff you can jump off of, at your own risk. There is a hidden restaurant with great lunch/drink options.... More

Lovely wide sandy beach. Swimming is limited due to big rollers but body boarding possible. Beach umbrellas and sun beds available at far end of beach away from hotel. $20 for two sunbeds and one umbrella. Refreshments available. Not too many hawkers and vendors.

We had rented a rental car for our week in Barbados and spent some time finding this beautiful beach! We found (with some difficulty) a side street with sign that pointed that Crane Beach was down the road. We parked the car (YIKES!) and made the walk down. Nothing can truly prepare you for the raw beauty you will see... More
