Great place to chill with friends. Take a cooler and a few snacks. This quiet area is perfect for picnics.

Went there 8.30am with wife and children for an early morning dip, my wife was approached by a man exposing/pleasuring himself. Not a nice place will never return again.

If you can find this beach as it is kinda a local favorite, you will be in luck. No touristy beverage hut, no chair rentals, no food carts or anything of the like, just pure beach and a change room. The storms have carved up...More

There are many, many beaches here. This was a nice little public beach area. Decent parking and a bathroom and shower area. A lot of friendly locals . They have some neat stone sculptures along the beach area. Quite clean and will be going again...More

Batts Rock is a local surf sport when surfing season is in, but it also has an area where you can swim without being affected too much by large waves, when they are around (usually late in the year). Tends to be quiet and not...More

Our local beach, idyllic looking. Warm sea to swim in and trees to give shade. We walked down from our apartment the first time and couldn't believe how lovely it was. The walk back was quite steep for oldies so after that we went down...More

This is predominantly used by the locals and not clean like other beaches. Easy parking compared to others but I would pass on using this beach if you have other options.

Batts Rock is the most peaceful and calming beach in Barbados. I have seen green monkeys there amongst the trees and flowers. Highly recommended, but better to go there accompanied by someone.

I was there in March and regularly visited this beach and there is no actual building work taking place and hasn't been for some time. I was told by one of the locals that the developers have gone bust and the building work... More

There is no hotel accommodation near Batts Rock. This area is on the Spring Garden Highway and the nearest hotel accommodation would be up the west coast. There are apartments that can be rented I can think if the... More
