We decided to take a little walk here, because Cruise Terminal is quite near. We heard that this is the place to be at evenings, when music is blasting and local people fill those several bars/pubs/restaurants/street food places. Colourful buildings and nice visit during daytime too. We felt safe and saw only friendly faces

Best road for meet the real Bajans , to bad only Joe`s Place aka Bel Air Jazzclubb doesen`t exist longer I had time of my Life there in the 80s. Best Club in the World Mick Jagger said. Grettings from a Viking Swede returner 2017

we visited this place with a bajan friend there are lots of eating and drinking places all of which we found to be very good tried bits of allsorts from the roadside bbq all of which were tasty and not expensive we had a great night

There is a place located on Baxter's Road called The Pink Star. It's kind of a rum shop/Restaurant where you will find the home of the best chicken liver sandwich. Baxters's Road is the original Oistin's on Friday Nights but with a little less hustle and bustle. However, if you want to experience a real 'ole time bajan lime" and see old archtecture then this is a must visit. baxter's road is a shadow of its former self,,now its like everyone has gone home to watch tv. once it was full of street traders selling food cooked on an open fire and full of life
