St. Mary's church was built in 1825 and is located on chapel street in Bridgetown. It is well worth a visit. This church really has some charm about it.

Set in a large churchyard, the building is light and airy. The memorials on the walls tell a little of the significant events in the history of the island. Donn't forget to leave an donation!

Went here on a tour. We walked through the cemetery that surrounds the church and the national flower that grows here was pointed out to us. We also saw the grave of one of the individuals who helped get Barbados her freedom. We went inside...More
