We thought the upper level was well maintained and worth visiting, but some of the lower levels were very isolated and not supervised. I would not visit alone just to be safe.

Nice out of the tourist path place to see. Walking in the tunnels was spooky but fun. It is free and we were the only one there when we visited.

if you are in town, I recommend you go here. It's a short walk up from the town proper, and the view is worth it. As are the canons, moat, underground archives, and lawn.
