Home to Bermuda's House of Assembly and the Supreme Court, this building is most interesting for its neo-classical architecture and watchtower commemorating Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee.

I was in awe of the formality associated with Bermudian Government. Being from the U.S. I was taken back by the tradition . Knowing it's English ties it was understandable that it was similar to Parliament. The building and grounds were magnificent and well kept. It has an air of spiritual serenity to it.

It is located in town and the clock tower architecture is beautiful. I recommend seeing this while in town.

The building is under construction at the moment. We did get to go into the chamber. It smelled moldy (no air ventilation). It was neat to see where legislation is passed in Bermuda. I did find the tour underwhelming.

If you get a chance to take the walking tour of Hamilton - do. Its short, interesting, and informative. The visit to the sessions house was a highlight

From aboard the Breakaway, the Sessions House stands in its own glory overlooking the blue waters of the sea The building itself is well cared for and kept clean and tidy and is a welcome visit to the culture of Bermuda

We certainly enjoyed hearing the brief history of Bermuda and Parliament house from the Sergeant at Arms. The building is impressive for its size. The furnishings are comfortable and cozy.

Very nice parliament building. I really like the style. For those interested in politics you can take tours during the week. Much smaller then US but a fascinating look into the government of Bermuda.

Bermuda has a reasonable claim to have the fourth oldest democratic assembly in the world, although of course this building dates from the 19th century, after the capital moved to Hamilton. Turning up for an advertised tour (on a Thursday afternoon) we found the building apparently empty, eventually finding a gentleman in a T-shirt on the top floor sorting out... More

Interesting insight into how the country runs. Based on a UK two house system this building is where the houses sit. We joined a tour midway and this was the first building we saw, it's pretty impressive. Get a chance to sit in the MP seats and listen to how the parliament commences. Important part of the island history. Suggest... More
