Christmas in Bermuda

We went to Christmas Day service at this Cathedral in Bermuda. It is beautiful and the congregation is friendly, and also a little old-school. The congregation was of all races.

The cathedral is beautiful a quiet and serene place to visit. Lots of Island history! Attended services there and was happy especially with the music.

the Architecture an location is enough for any visitor and local alike to come and visit or to sit and take it all in. Nicely located in the heart of the city allows for you see it and catch some other sites within the city and shopping is close by.

So glad we stopped in to look around. Didn't even know we could go up in the tower til the lady in the gift shop mentioned it. The stairs up to the roof are steep and winding - we had no trouble but I would not recommend it if you're claustrophobic. Once on the roof there are gorgeous 360 views... More

We were killing time in Hamilton waiting for the ferry to arrive to the Dockyard and decided to visit the Cathedral. It is only a few blocks from the docks and just down the street from the bus station. The church is amazing and also looks like it could have been built around a fortification. The inside is very peaceful... More

This is a nice old-world cathedral near the bus station in downtown Hamilton. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

The cathedral is light and airy and in the heart of Hamilton, a short walk from the bus station and ferry terminal. We visited on Saturday lunchtime and realized before we entered that we would not be able to climb the tower as it is only open weekdays 10:00 to 1:00. However when we enquired about the views from the... More

This an old world Cathedral. The deep dark wood. The pipe organ. The kneelers had small pillows. The alter and pulpit has the old religion. Would have loved to attend there bible study but it was held the night before we arrived. Located really close to the bus terminal.

The cathedral is beautiful and rich with history. From the beautiful carved wood to the stain glass windows this building is a gem. It is close by to the bus terminal and a short walk from the ferry.

This is a classic Gothic cathedral like you would see in European cities or New York City. The pulpit is meticulously carved and beautiful. The altar area is richly sculptured, evidence of the craftsmanship of the era. The stained glass panels were not large but they were highly detailed. Although online info and brochures say otherwise, the attendant told us... More
