This is a wonderful place to explore if you have time. There is a section on The America's Cup at the moment which is very interesting. A lovely shell collection is displayed very well. Downstairs there is a section on various shipwrecks off the coast of Bermuda with various recovered treasures on display. A great find indeed.

Much better than expected. Interesting history of diving and shipwrecks around the cost. Beautiful shell collection from all over the world. Informative gallery about the Americas cup. Only dated part was the 'dive' under the sea. Needs bringing into the 21st century. Great visit for adults and children.

Fun place to visit for both kids and adults. Their Americas Cup exhibit is lots of fun and gets visitors even more excited for Bermudas up coming big event. Great place to visit on a rainy day.

Interesting museum that explains the role that underwater exploration has played in Bermuda and its surrounds. It also takes a look at how the changing level of the sea has effected the environment throughout the centuries. A huge shell collection by two locals is also on display and was the highlight of the museum for me.

I was on a cruise ship ported into Hamilton for a couple of days. I e-mailed my old college roommate, Crystal (from U of Miami from over 40 years ago) as she is the director of education for this museum. She left a free pass at the front desk for me and then we met up after one of her... More

BUEI was quite the enjoyable learning experience which seemed up to date and clean. Every exhibit offered something new and different, especially the expansive shell collection within the museum. Although the virtual dive was rather low-tech everything was satisfying. But the only downside to this is that without being a member you have to pay a bit more and the... More

This is a wonderful place to spend 60-90 minutes on a rainy day in Bermuda. The America's Cup exhibit is great. Don't miss the virtual reality glasses!

I've been to a lot of the museums on the island and so far this has been my favourite. It's super interactive, which makes it a blast for children and those who are young at heart. We came here on a day that it wasn't particularly nice out. Fantastic rainy day activity. It takes a couple hours or so if... More

When it rains in Bermuda, it is nice to have a place like the BUEI to go with your grandsons. There is lots to see and it sure tells you everything that you need to know about the great island of Bermuda.
