Walking along Front Street surely is an essential Bermuda experience. It offers a mix of financial firms, restaurants, clothing stores, and waterfront.

A fun way to introduce yourself to Hamilton. All manner of stores face the water- ranging from retail and restaurants to business and government offices. You will return here many times

** Please note this review is coming from a local ** During the day, Front Street is bustling and full of jewelry stores, restaurants and souvenir shops. Coming off of the ferry at the Hamilton stop, its a perfect taste of the city center. During the summer (May - September), the street is transformed every Wednesday night to a market... More

We took a ferry in to Hamilton from Southampton to shop and explore. Most of the stores are closed on Sundays and a few are closed on Mondays as well so it is best to shop on another day. The stores open around 10:00AM until 5:00 or 6:00 PM. There are a number of nice shops to stroll in and... More

It’s hard to miss Front Street if you find yourself in Hamilton. The ferry stop puts you in the middle of it, and the street is just down the hill from the central bus station. You can stroll the marina walls and take in the shops. There’s no shortage of restaurants and bars. If you’re in Hamilton, you don’t want... More

Lost it's luster. When cruise ships arrived in Hamilton there was a better selection of stores. Banks appear to have taken over. Still plenty for a half day trip. Most stores don't open before 10:00.

I told myself I wasn't going to buy anything. Ha- Ha. Very beautiful jewelry stores on this street. Great salesmanship, too. I fell in love with a replica of the famous Bermuda "Piggy Penny." (Saw an original in the BLUI museum). I just had to have it since it was SO cute and my grandfather used to have a pig... More

Just like the pictures, scenic and lovely. Lovely view of the water and the bridge. The whole area is interesting to walk around and shop. Several restaurants are right on the water and it's nice to get a drink and people watch.

This is the heart of Hamilton harbour. It is easy walking to all the shops for all save those with health issues. Once along the harbour, Front Street features pastel-coloured colonial buildings and high-end shops. Interior are various earteries and local shops. It would take more than a day to soak up just this area of the island. Worth the... More
