This well hidden gem is worth the "hike" as this beach/bay is not visible until you've meandered through the gardens and cross country trails. When it is revealed however, its breath taking and most times untouched. You have a private beach awaiting you.

It was a bit of an adventure. We decided to walk to Hog Bay Park from the Dockyard, to get away from the crowds. We like to walk and explore, but the roads are not conducive to walking and our plan of getting to the...More

I had read about Hog Bay Beach online before trip, and what I read said it was worth the walk if you were up to it. As others have said, it's really easy to miss the entrance to the park and wind up at the...More

I almost didn't find Hog Bay Park by walking to an abandoned house. When I got on the right path, literally, I found myself hiking instead. The walk was pleasant. Upon entering i came across a lady and her dog. 90% of the whole walk...More

The tide was in so there was not much beach left. The visibility was low. Lots of seagrass - which is why went hoping to see sea turtles. Hot walk, mix of woods and farmer field area. It is hard to find the entrance; just...More

First: note that this park is all walking paths so don't expect to arrive at a beach or anything right away. Also, the paths often go around cultivated patches and there are a few abandoned buildings on the land there which was a little confusing...More

My friend and I went to Hog Bay Park to snorkel the bay, not to hike, so I can't offer many details about the surrounding park (a mix of wooded areas and rare Bermuda farmland)–others have described it better. Visiting Hog Bay was a nice...More

I thoroughly enjoyed the nature trail that leads from the car park through farm land (there isn't much of it visible in Bermuda) and up to the fabulous view of the coastline, and then the descent to the "beach" which I couldn't see as it...More

The beach is very cool, especially since it's only available during low tide. Judging by the water marks on the rocks, it looks like everything gets submerged to a height of about two feet, so the whole thing dissapears at high tide. In february (when...More
