We both like nature, and enjoyed the well-marked trail here. It has a diverse trail, with woods, ocean views and the pond. We were the only ones here on a hot summer day. I wish the garbage cans at the top were not overflowing.

We wanted to get a few provisions at the local market and were told to take a walk along the Spittal Nature Reserve. The views are awesome. The walk is easy and dog friendly

We hiked this area, and got lost for a short bit. But it is not too big so we found our way within a few minutes. Very infrequently visited by tourists, so this was a good one for us!

I'm a local and I love this reserve for more than one reason. It's a great mixture of coastal and pond views. The terrain is constantly changing, and it's full of lush flora and fauna. I enjoy taking my friends to tis reserve as many...More

This is probably as much as a hike you'd get in Bermuda and its a beautiful one! A complete circle of the Nature Reserve is about 1.25 miles. I wouldn't recommend going right after a hard rain as it can get muddy and slippery! Enjoy...More

Pleasant walking trails out to the coast where visitors can view hump-backed whales in March and early April. This year (2017), the whales had moved on by April 11 but the views are spectacular. You can look down on the Long-tailed Tropic Bird and watch...More

I can't speak for the beauty of the pond or trails around it (some reviewers seemed underwhelmed, understandably), but some perseverance will bring you to a rocky shoreline that is well worth the hike. The volcanic rock is very unusual (and rough on hands and...More

Despite the hot, humid day, this was a lovely and peaceful walk along paths through some tropical foliage that passed a scenic, rocky coastline. We reached the reserve from a nearby bus stop. Be aware, as we walked by Spittal Pond itself there was a...More

We spent a lovely morning in early April walking through the Spittal Pond area with our guide, Lynn Thorne. Lynn points out things that we would never have noticed and she has an eagle eye for the birds. We were led to the coast where...More

Came here to check out the nature found a poorly signed park next to a cattle ranch with a mid sized pond. Really couldn't find any charm in this place. Wouldn't come here if I knew.
