My Husband and I were renting an apartment in Somerset Village, so this was the closest public beach for us, just a 10 minute stroll through a quiet residential area. We came for 3 afternoons in a row, and we were the only people in the water--granted, it was early April and the water temperature was 68 degrees, but we... More

My husband and I spent a postcard perfect afternoon here watching sea turtles and tiny little fish. We picnicked on fish sandwiches we got from Woody's in Somerset village. There were only a few other groups on the beach which included some toddlers who were really enjoying the calm clear waters. After we packed up we walked to the Country... More

If you don't want hundreds of tourist around, rent a scooter and get to this beach. My husband and I spend several hours alone on this beach - paradise. Eventually a few couples and a local family arrived but the beach was so peaceful and beautiful. The water was also so calm... And by the way we swam with turtles!!!

While just another quiet sandy beach (as it does not get the pounding from the Atlantic Ocean), if it were anywhere on the East Coast of the USA from New Jersey to South Carolina....it would be considered exceptional. Not much in the water, although I was told you might spot the occasional turtle. There is a ton of broken glass... More

Daniels head beach closely is much nicer. This has too much trash and a lot of boats making it hard to go far into the water.

We stayed near this beach on our honeymoon, its quieter but just good as the more well know beaches of Bermuda. Water is calmer on the west side of the island. kite boarding was quite popular there.

A good swimming beach. Like all the beaches in Bermuda, this one is beautiful. Good thing is there aren't just tourists here like you'll typically find at Horseshoe Bay.

The water has a lot of garbage in it, some from the hurricane, some from dumping. There is a lot of sea grass, kind of slimy. The views are nice. It's near the wreck of the vixen so there is a lot of boat traffic and noise. Not a quiet spot.

It was low ride and there was a lot of plant debris on the shore which is understandable, but the beach was covered in broken glass...in and out of the water. It is not possible to walk here without at least water shoes here. The kids were very disappointed as they were not able to play in the sand because... More

This would/could be a great beach but it's covered in broken glass. I hope someone takes note and works to clean it up so it can be enjoyed.
