the boat driver guiness takes u very slowly thru this bird sanctuary and all the males were gone in june when i went ut so many females and babies! worth it! wear sunblock and when u return Jala has lunch prepared for ya!

The frigate bird colony on Barbuda is one of the largest in the world. It is located in the island's lagoon and you can only gte access to it by boat, which makes it a nice experience.

although the mating season was about to end (which meant not too many males with the red pouch were around) it was a very nice experience, with the possibility to see the frigates very close

We were taken to the sanctuary by a lovely man called Guinness! He was very informative & interesting. He then took us to the beach between the lake & the sea which was beautiful. It was a very memorable trip.
