Thought it was just an icon on the map till I saw the actual large anchor monument. Was interesting and surprising. Luckily no-one else around so had good view. Not only an interesting landmark, but also useful for navigating around this part of the island...More

Located at the southern part of Aruba, it does take time to get to if you are not going in a tour. We rented a car and drove to see it. It is a beautiful monument with a great backdrop of the sea behind it....More

Located on the southern part of aruba this anchor has a great historical story behind it. Nice spot for a group photo but lots of people stop there. Very close to baby and rodger beach

We took a ride to see this and it is really large! You will also enjoy the donkeys that are very friendly as well as the goats too

this is in memory of all seamen lost at sea....to the left of this anchor is a prison far from the tourist.

It's a good place so you can view kite surfing, but it does need a bit more of info on what the anker means and it's history. My recommendation stop for a short picture and continue along to baby beach.

It's a nice memorial but not something that you would spend more than a few minutes at taking photos most likely on your way out to or from Baby Beach.

We stopped by on our way home as they were selling samples of the local aruban beer. Ladies in cow costumes very nice.
