We came here on a De Palm tour which included 3 locations and this is the last. It's a busy site with many snorkeling boats around. We actually had to wait a while for other boats to leave to get into the right anchoring position. The wreck is a fair sized German cargo ship and sunk in shallow water so possible to dive down close enough to touch. Pretty cool to see something like this and able to get so close just snorkeling. Water can get a bit choppy out here since it's further out in the ocean. But definitely a highlight not to be missed.

We snorkeled around the Antilla as part of a cruise ship snorkel excursion. This is off the coast a bit and is deep, so it is a little darker. However, it was really neat to snorkel around this sunken vessel. We did see many types of fish around, but once you've gone around the vessel as few times, there really isn't anything else to see in this snorkel location.

Saw Antilla on a snorkel cruise reserved at one of the many water sports vendors along Palm Beach. Snorkel and fins were provided. Sadly, we only had 30min, I could have used more time because the ship is large and it's such a wonder to look at. The water was rather choppy and currents strong, so this might be a little scary for less confident swimmers. The ship is BIG and in two pieces, so if you don't venture further out from the boat, you might not even see the second piece. I regret not knowing this beforehand. Bring an underwater phone case! Another regret of mine. The fish were amazing. Overall, it was well worth a visit for 60USD!

Seeing the Antilla was pretty amazing. There were so many fish around that is was a great snorkel. The only thing is that it can be a demanding snorkel spot depending on the wind/waves. We had a little bit of a difficult time, but still enjoyed seeing it.

I went with Sailaway tour. It was really nice to see the boat, althought visibility was not excellent. However, I was able to record some videos. Bigger fishes than in the other two snorkel sites I visited during the same tour. I recommend it.

We've snorkeled in Mexico, Grand Cayman Island and many of the Caribbean islands. Although we haven't done a hugh amount of snorkeling, I thought this was one of the neatest spots we've been to yet. I was very pleased with our adventure to the Antilla. The water was crystal clear, the number and variety of fish were abundant and the vision of the Antilla was a spectacular sight to see. Our underwater pictures came out very nice. I would definitely recommend this to anyone going to the Aruba area.

I took the trip to antilla without knowing what to expect, I had dived before but never in a wreck, also decided to try SNUBA. The experience was wonderful, snuba is much more comfortable than the scuba (with the obvious limitations), I saw many species under water and the wreck is impressive. I recommend it!

Took a snorkeling trip with one of the tour groups
recommended by the Hyatt Regency resort.
It was a bargain--- $35 US- and you get all equipment,
drinks, 2 sandwiches and some watermelon-
You go to two dive spots-- one in the shallows near
the california lighthouse and at the antilla
the largest shipwreck in the Caribbean.
Beautiful fish -- you should be a pretty confident swimmer
if not I recommend a waist floater because its about 60 feet
if I remember correctly. It's very long and the water is
a bit colder than the shallows. One part of the ship is very
close to the surface and I was worried about crashing into it
Everything is still very clear from the surface so there is no
need to really dive down unless you are a real diving enthusiast
It was my first experience with a shipwreck and I would
definitely recommend it

The Antilla shipwreck was the highlight of our snorkeling trip with Red Sail Sports. We got on the tour at the last minute (had to push it up a day because of Hurricane Felix). So we didn't have a chance to get an underwater camera or take pictures, but do that if you can.
We not only snorkeled with clusters of fish, but saw a sea turtle and were super close to pelicans perched on the ship's stern, which protrudes from the water. (Think it was the stern.) I'm no snorkeling expert, but I've done it a few times in Maui and the Dominican Republic. This was the coolest experience yet. Only thing that would be better is scuba diving. The story of the ship's sinking is pretty interesting as well.
Red Sail provided a great trip. Friendly guides, good drinks, decent snacks, and a reasonable price. (You can also find good coupons online; search Google.) Highly recommended. Other tours visit the Antilla as well. Just make sure to confirm that's the shipwreck you want to snorkel at, since there are others off the Aruba coast.

Is there a minimum age for this tour?
Do you offer transport from the cruise port?

There are snorkeling tours that go out to the Antilla, but I have to second the recommendation to visit AquaWindies and check out getting certified to dive. Just dove the Antilles this morning with them, for maybe my 50th time and I still love it!

Oi Isadora! Paguei 175 dolares por uma saída com dois cilindros, um no Antilla e outro no recife em Arashi.

Hi. We were wondering what tour you took if any to the wreck? We are travelling in a few days and this is on our list to see. Thanks.

We went with Delphi Water Sports. Great crew!! Super fun rope swing into the water and water slide off the back. Nice, clean, big boat. Our tour only had maybe 15 people on it in March - plenty of room. Lunch included.

Hi,
We are considering a holiday at the Saint-James Club and would like to dive with your
diving operation if possible...a second question is the fact that i would be diving in st-Lucia
to do underwater photos of the seahorse population around the island...will you pick up
and drop off at the hotel?

The Antilla is a dive site, not a diving operation

Where should we rent a car? At the airport? What car rental service is the most reasonably price?
Written 17 June 2015
I found that Tropic Car rental was the best and they have a service that picks you up at the airport ant takes you to them. The owner is very nice to deal with too.
