We really wanted to see this museum, but it was all closed up. Sad really. We drove around and around the block looking for an entrance and finally looked up the photo on the net. But it was all closed up.

We were in Aruba in late January on a cruise and wanted to return to a long ago favorite--the numismatic museum (coins and currency). The building picture is there, but it is empty with a Lease sign. We spoke to the manager of the nearby Cultural Museum and he reported that the former Numismatic had been using the place gratis-but... More

My friends and I hopped off the free trolley and spent a great hour exploring this museum. It gave a great historical count of the history of Aruba. Beautiful artwork and very informative. It's free to the public and allows pictures to be taken without flash.

Visited more than 15 years ago. We were greeted by the daughter of the man who privately collected and exhibited the coins & currency in a small home at that time. Very interesting.

Loved it as I'M a collector. The director gave me a guided tour and I was able to purchase some authentic silver coins . Great afternoon. walking distance from Palm Beach hotels.

Nice way to seean intersting perpective of local history - try to couple it with a trip to the Mint and yo will have an enjoyable time. NO - they do not give out samples!

We thought we would visit this museum since my husband collects coins and paper money. It no longer exists! The building is there, but it is no longer a museum.

We stopped by this museum because I had read about it on trip advisor and thought it might be interesting to see some really old coins from the Roman Empire. We really did enjoy it. The collection here is amazing! I've never been to a coin collection museum before, so this was a first time experience. There was so much... More

Had an hour to kill and had seen this museum mentioned in our Fodor's guide. Seeing all the different coins (square, triangles, wild designs) was great, but it was made all the more interesting by the museum owner who gave us a personal tour. We learned about Aruba and it's history and experience as a colony. This place has an... More
