Leave the cares of the world behind as you venture over to a private island complimentary to Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino guests. Renaissance Island features Aruba’s only private beaches and is just an 8-minute water taxi ride away. Here lies a true oasis with family-friendly beaches or beaches just for adults. Pamper yourself at the private Spa Cove, play a game of beachtennis, sit down to the delicious lunch specials at Papagayo Bar & Grill or have a drink at our newly added Mangrove Beach Bar, or just lie back and let the sun caress you. A day on Renaissance Island is a day well spent.

Private Island for Renaissance Guests. We stayed in the Renaissance Marina Hotel, and were boated (made up that word) to the site. 7 minute ride, picked up the boat right inside of the hotel. Slick. Island has a restaurant, decent food, not great, but hey, you're on an island within an island, not high expectations. Clean Island. Flamingo's on the... More

This was a great experience. You will feel very pampered. The cabana comes with butler service for the day. When we were there our butler was Christian. He was great - so helpful and I can't say enough about how great he was!

We stayed at the Renaissance and love the private island. The kids enjoyed every minute! It is a nice boat ride out and back (most likely to get wet if you sit in the back of the boat). It is not busy early morning and late afternoon but there seems to be a busy early afternoon/lunch time rush. The kids... More

This private beach is nirvana. Flamingos surround you , along with the waves crashing on the rocks. Full bar, great food and service.

A very unique amenity on the private island is that servers come directly to your beach chair to take your food and/or drink order and bring it to you while you are basking in the sun or relaxing in the shade of your palapa. We have visited annually for the last seven years and each year we are greeted with... More

When we visit Aruba we always stay at the Renaissance and therefore spend at least 1 day on the private island. However this year we rented a cabana and decided within minutes of being there that we would do the same every year here on out! We rented the largest cabana they have, which has water views on all sides,... More

I was looking forward to spending a day at "flamingo island" unfortunately it was a pretty big let down. The staff at the hotel where we purchased a day pass was very nice, so was the staff who drove the boat out to the island. Once on the island the staff seemed to avoid people. We wanted to see about... More

We paid for 2 $198 and it was worth it, Speedy boat. Great lunch and cocktails in the onsite restaurant. Super views beach was a little busy on Flamingo area, come earlier for chairs or go to the other side where restaurant is located. Staff are very very friendly and helpful.

Myself and my boyfriend went on holiday to Aruba in February this year and before booking we had looked at The Renaissance Hotel and Casino. We decided to stay at an apartment instead as this suited our needs better but read up that you can visit the hotel's private island - Renaissance Island - on a day pass, available from... More

After staying at eagle beach next to a highway, this private beach was paradise. Adult exclusive. Plenty of beds.
