If you are going to be staying anywhere near English Harbour and have at least a passing interest in Royal Naval history, look for the Tot Club. It all seems rather eccentric at first but I found the people wonderfully welcoming and ended up passing my history test to earn membership on my last evening. Great fun, especially if you... More

I was aware of the Tot Club before I visited Antigua, they create and keep clear a number of walking trails over the historic area around English Harbour, I did one from Nelsons Dockyard to Pigeon Beach and found it interesting with some great sites and views. My wife and I and our six year-old son were guests of the Magpie II (Newcastle) yacht crew, Ron and Karen, for our first "Tot."
