The Shirley heights, a once upon a time military lookout, accords picture post card views of the sea and landscape below. A great place for capturing awesome photos.

The best spot on the island to see the spectacular sunsets. Visit on a Sunday in season and enjoy real Caribbean BBQ’s and steel band music while looking down over English Harbour.

Exceptional views at the most southerly point of Antigua. There was a lookout podium with amazing vistas over large parts of the area and out into the Atlantic Ocean. Worth a visit.

Shirley Heights is a must if you are visiting Antigua. We went on a Sunday night as recommended by our hotel. Apparently there is a smaller scale night on Thursdays. The Halcyon Steel band are absolutely amazing, and the BBQ is real authentic carribean food....More

This may have been a better experience during the day or not on Sunday evening, but we had our fill after about 20 minutes during that weekly party. Not very big, wall to wall people, overpriced weak drinks, was not money well spent for us....More

We stopped here for a photo opportunity in the afternoon just as it started to rain, which was lovely as it cooled the air down but unfortunately not so good for the views & the photo's. Lots of mini buses you will not be alone!

We visited during the day and for the Sunday evening barbeque. The gift shop was open both times, but there were far more vendors Sunday evening. Sorry, but we missed seeing the museum.
