This is a beautiful beach close to the cruise port. There sand is beautiful, plenty of chairs on this public beach, umbrella can be rented for $10 each, there is a restaurant with a bar that you can get a break from the sun or get a cool drink. The best part is that you can get to the beach... More

This beach is called Fort James Beach on map and signs. Quite a long beach for Antigua there are restaurants at both ends, the ones at the North only seem to be open peak season or when cruise ships are in. The southern end has a few smaller restaurants and bars which are open all year including the fabulous "BeachlimerZ"... More

A nice beach just a short taxi drive from town. There is a restaurant with showers and toilets adjacent. There are lounges and umbrellas to rent. A short walk along the beach will take you to other bars and a restaurant. The water is refreshing and clean, and the beach area was also very clean.

A typical Caribbean beach, sun - sand and fun! There is a restaurant where you can buy drinks etc and the younger family members sell trinkets like bracelets, tee-shirts, wraps etc.

Our driver recommended this quiet beach as a personal favorite and my family and I found it to be very nice. Lots of space and plenty of facilities. There were showers to wash the sand off, bathrooms for a pit stop, and a covered restaurant/bar area with food and drinks and sun protection. Staff at the bar/restaurant were very friendly.... More

If you ever cruised and stopped in Antigua you have heard a band playing their Steel Pans. I would love to be able to play the dam things. No mater how hard I tried it didn't come out to well. Maybe had something to do with the 152% Rum available on the Island. Enjoy the music there is nothing like... More

Wandered around the adjacent old fort area with loads of cannons insitu then down the deserted beach. Couple of stray dogs about but otherwise beautifull, safe and very clean . Need hire car to access but worth s look.

There seem to be mixed reports re this spot. Maybe it depends which stretch you get to...the nearer the town the more likely you are to finding litter and poor stray dogs and cats....its not their fault they are left feral and not looked after.!!! The folk at this part do not seem to care for these poor creatures at... More

This is a nice beach, not great just nice, there is a place to eat and a bar. Some shade the water is clear, but there was a lot of sand fleas which made it unbearable at times. Pass on this beach
