Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was one of our favourite Anguilla beaches. The waters were calm and you could take kayaks or boats to Little Bay. There were beach chairs and umbrellas free of charge if you have a drink or food in the very nice beach restaurant.

If you’re snorkeling, go to the intake pipes on the east side of this beach, and follow them out. The pylons and pipes are covered with corals, and plants, and Christmas tree worms and all sorts of glorious, beautifully-colored things. In their shadow lurk schools of parrotfish, tangs, needlefish and other colorful creatures that I’ve previously only encountered in books and on film. Then turn a little further east and follow the rocks back along the far edge of the bay—our finds there included a quite large octopus!!!

Out in the middle of the bay, sweeping across the open water, we found barracuda, and another smaller octopus. The dock is also overgrown with corals, and harbors schools of needlefish, and of jouvenile fish of all sorts.

Every spot in this bay showed us crabs, worms, sea cucumbers, octopus, and other creatures.

DaVida beach bar kept us well-fed and supplied in delicious pina coladas.

All in all, our days spent here were nothing short of heaven.

The beach is long, water is calm. Rent SUP, kayaks or paddle boats with slide for family fun. Have lunch on the beach at DaVidas or take Calvins Boat Service to Little Bay to snorkel or picnic. Great family atmosphere.

I went to Crocus Bay to take the boat to Little Bay. So many people flooded Little Bay which is tiny that I left and went to Crocus Bay Beach which is big and I had to myself! More at my TA trip page or blog etbtravelphotography

The bay has beautiful, small and calm. The beach is small, quiet, and nice. There are public restrooms, the Da Vida restaurant takes up the left half of the beach, but the right side is very quiet and nice.

There are two pipes leading to the desalination plant. They are home to many different fish so the snorkeling is great.

Calvin of Little Bay Boat Services 264-772-1332 is under the big tree and can shuttle you over to Little Bay if you so desire.

The restaurant has a casual side which has beach chairs out front.

Certainly this is a nice afternoon at least.

We anchored in the bay for the day and enjoyed time in the water and on the beach. Given it was a beautiful day, the beach was rather empty compared to others which made it all the more enjoyable. We also had lunch in the restaurant since it was so easy to pop in.

I recommend this beach, not the longest but one of the nicest on the island. My 15 year old son and 11 year old daughter really enjoyed playing the crystal clear, comb azure sea and for the most part, we felt secluded (in a good way) from other popular island destinations like Shoal Bay. The one negative is that there is a bunch of luxurious high speed boats that ‘dump’ waves of tourists who have lunch and leave 2 hours later. So that secluded feelings goes away during lunch time but otherwise a great experience, highly recommended. You can also take a small boat service to visit the famed Little Bay beach just around the corner, but only accessible by boat (or dangerous rock climbing).

It’s a stunningly beautiful beach with opportunity for great photography shots. Da’Vida is also a great dining choice for the food and the view.

Our Anguilla tour included a lunch stop at pretty Crocus Bay. The powdery white sandy beach was deserted except for our boat. Here’s the perfect place to chill out and get away from it all. As a bonus, da ‘Vida Restaurant is just a stone’s throw away
