I have visited Prickly Pear twice. Once was during an excursion from my hotel in St. Maarten, the second was during a yacht ride from Anguilla. I don't know if there are hotel accommodations on this small island but people dock there to have lunch, snorkel, relax and pass time. The water is warm, clear not really deep but deep... More

Amazing food! This was our 3rd time to the island. The restaurant is only open on certain days so make sure to verify that ahead of time. The food is amazing & the offer generous portions!

We went on an excursion and we had a blast. Best beaches ever with amazing sandy beaches. Good snorkeling. You have to charter a boat to go there though.

We moored our boat off Prickly Pear Cay and honestly just expected to lay on a beach and do some snorkeling. We were quite shocked to find a nice little beach bar and phenomenal food out there. Allan is a very funny man and has the best job ever. He's also very fair with his prices considering he's literally the... More

Alan at the bar is a blast, taught us some new bar tricks, the food was excellent and a bargain compared to other places in st martin and st Bart's, we had ribs and chicken and then lobster. Lobster was pulled from the ocean alive, fresh lobster without a doubt, portions we huge. They also had a nice veggie plate,... More

Besides the staff, we were the only ones at Prickly Pear first thing in the morning. Really enjoyed sitting at the little bar hut and visiting with Alan. We had a delicious lobster lunch, wandered around and did a bit of snorkeling. A very unique experience I won't soon forget.

Loved Prickly Pear when we came with a tour. There's 2 restaurants and bars on the island and lots of room to wander around the beach exploring. Beautiful place and would recommend it.

I highly recommend Sail Chocolat with Captain Rollins. We had a lovely sail to Prickly Pear and although the snorkeling left a lot to be desired (the reef seems dead and there are few fish and way too many catamarans coming from St. Martin with hundreds of people at a time). The beach is gorgeous but the highlight of our... More

Snorkeling was great. I think there was a local shark playing around with people, but I unfortunately didn't cross anything but a barracuda. Lovely reef. Afterwards, went over to Anguilla, an apparently uninhabited island aside from tourists. People ate. Ride back on catamaran, the cruise crew brings out the booze. I'll never forget the exciting chant of "RrrrrrrrrrrUUuuuuM Punch!" My... More
