Our first visit there since the tearoom changed hands. Llanyrafon Manor is a real gem with lots of interesting rooms and outside areas, and plenty of parking spaces. We were disappointed with the tea room. We ordered the 'Doorstep' toast, expecting nice thick freshly cut toasted bread - but ended up with ordinary sliced bread which was quite dry. The... More

This is a really well presented property, with its architectural development from Tudor through Stuart periods clearly shown and well explained. Although only a few rooms can be viewed, the house is decorated in an appropriate way to give a sense of period, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Best of all, admission is free and there is plenty... More

I visited with my sister whilst we were in the area. It gives a great little insight into life in the area during the past and also has a brilliant little tearoom. We really enjoyed our visit.

Absolutely love going to Llanyrafon Manor. We didn't even realise it was on our door step!! The place is absolutely beautiful and so cosy with the open fire. We love how it's presented and all the information on the age and stories of the rooms. The manor is very clean and tidy and the toilets and baby changing area is... More

Thank you so much for your kind words, I know Dave & Hannah will be delighted to hear them. We want all our visitors to know that we are a family friendly venue (that's both children & dogs!) and our brilliant team try so hard to make everyone feel welcome. Everything we have here is for people to use and... More

This is a lovely Manor House beautifully restored and in a nice setting. The coffee shop is disappointing and not as good as it used to be. Nice seating area outside but rather cramped inside and quite expensive. The Sunday markets are very disappointing, far more stalls are needed to make it worth a visit - maybe the rents need... Thank you for taking the time to review your visit. We agree that out tea room is a small environment but as you are no doubt aware the nature of listed buildings are the small and awkwardly shaped rooms. There is very little we can do to remedy this, what we have done however is add additional seating areas throughout... More

We love the Manor. It is a great place to call in for lunch but if you are expecting chips and burgers, then don't go. They serve a lovely selection of panini's, sandwiches, pies and salads. The service is always good and the surroundings are lovely, with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. They have different events going on throughout... More

We used to love taking a walk and stopping off for lunch here. It's not as good since the new tenants have taken over. The choice of food and the customer service is average at best and I would not be comfortable in recommending the place anymore. The Sunday markets are also a let down - there are not enough... Seating inside and out. Very pleasant staff and taste of local food. Very interesting manor house with rooms set out as they would have been. Plenty of parking and room for children to play outside, but beware there are old building remains and a river close by. In the manor there are uneven floors and low doorways which add to... More

We called in the snack bar and ordered two coffees and one cheese and one tuna toastie. The coffees were served up fairly quickly but it took quite some time to get the toasties, and it wasn't as though they were busy. When the food eventually came we had two cheese and tuna mixed toasties instead of what I had... More

Hello Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us. I am sorry to hear that there was a mistake with your food order, but I am pleased the staff rectified it quickly for you.
