Greenmeadow Community Farm has been a working farm for over 250 years. Set in over 120 acres, we have a wide range of pedigree and rare animals which you can come and meet up close. Nestled in the heart of Cwmbran, this is truly a Community Farm in every sense of the word, working closely with and serving the local community and welcoming visitors from far and wide. Our cosy farmhouse cafe, Cafe Cwtch, offers kids favourites and a selection of homemade specials. We aim to use as much local produce as we can, supporting local farmers, growers and suppliers. The farm shop is full of tractors and animals to take home after your visit. There really is something for everyone. We would love to see you soon!

Please note we are open 10am - 5pm (last entry at 4pm) seven days a week, whatever the weather! The farm is closed for deep cleaning and maintenance from 24th December - 31st January each year.

Reason entry costs, with a small additional charge to see Father Christmas. Worth the cost alone for the visit to see Father Christmas, he is lovely! You wait in an area with hay bales to sit on and Christmas trees and scenes around the edge, a lovely photo opportunity. Then FC rings a bell and you go through to talk... More

Pay for an annual pass to take my granddaughter who is 2. We used to go most weeks but she's taken a liking to Cefn Mabley instead as there's more to do in covered areas. Anyway back to green meadow, nice in the summer, can feed the animals-goats, ducks etc sit outside , play in the sand and they have... More

Many thanks for taking the time to review :-) We are glad that you and your Granddaughter enjoy the farm and lots of what we have to offer! Just to make you aware, both of the bouncy springers are as made, the one for younger children/babies has a back and slightly older children/toddlers does not have a back. It is... More

I'm saddened to have to give this review as I've been coming to this farm since I was little. It was only the other day I was telling my dad that I felt it was the only decent farm left in the area. I visit frequently and always enjoy our visit. However, my son was begging me to go to... More

The farm is very educational for little ones and the well cared for animals can be fed and stroked. The tractor ride is a must and they have added more swings by the dragon. The cafe is great quality and value for money and there are many washing stations around the farm to ensure everything is as hygienic as it... More

Sorry to hear you feel the farm is not the same. At this time of year we have to rotate the animals, resting and saving paddocks so there will inevitably be empty areas but we can assure you there are still lots of animals here! We have only had one deer for a number of years now and she is... More

The farm is not a full blown farm but rather a small animal interaction site with most of the small animals you would ecpect, It is a great experience fot the you say up to 10 years old especially with the ability to handle the animals.
