We visit regularly as love near. It's a short walk, so is perfect for young kids. My son loves a picnic there (and a paddle in summer). Just a lovely local place

Quiet area to the North of Abertillery town approx. half a mile. Scenic lakeside area where fishing is available along with a relaxing atmosphere suitable for all with easy access and parking. Bus service available from the town.

Lovely lakes nestling in the mountains at the top of the Cwmtillery Valley. Ideal for picnics, short walks and longer mountain walks.

No facilities here apart from toilets. Great walking area though, and stunning scenery. We were lucky enough to be there on a really hot sunny day and the views were superb. Thoroughly enjoyed a 12km walk above the lake and back down through the valley.

A beautiful, peaceful location. I love the serenity and the gorgeous waterfall flowing into the lake. Enjoyed by dog walkers, families, fishermen, and nature lovers.

We walk here often, such a lovely peaceful place. My kids love it here seeing the birds, tadpoles, frogs and fish.
