This is a twenty minute walk from where I live And where I learnt to swim as a kid It’s lovely but if you walk half a mile up the road You’ll come to the reservoir that is totally stunning

Pretty place for a walk anytime of year, nice and flat with purpose built footpath and good parking space plus toilets.

Fished here on a very hot sunny day but still caught 3 fish and lost as many. Very limited facilities, not even a toilet available. Very quiet location despite being very close to Abertillery.

Gorgeous nature area with crystal clear lakes, very lush green area, clean & well kept, plenty of picnic areas & benches to enjoy the beauty of this valley

What a wonderful place to spend some relaxing time feeding the ducks, whilst taking in some wonderful scenery.

We visit regularly as love near. It's a short walk, so is perfect for young kids. My son loves a picnic there (and a paddle in summer). Just a lovely local place

Quiet area to the North of Abertillery town approx. half a mile. Scenic lakeside area where fishing is available along with a relaxing atmosphere suitable for all with easy access and parking. Bus service available from the town.

Lovely lakes nestling in the mountains at the top of the Cwmtillery Valley. Ideal for picnics, short walks and longer mountain walks.

No facilities here apart from toilets. Great walking area though, and stunning scenery. We were lucky enough to be there on a really hot sunny day and the views were superb. Thoroughly enjoyed a 12km walk above the lake and back down through the valley.
