Rather expensive for what you get. The trip in the car was all right but the hippos were just two rocks in the water and the other animals just hide. The ani.als in the cages look depressed and the cages are way to small. The o ly good thing was the sea lions.

Contrary to the views of some other reviewers, this zoo provided a pleasant day out for our little family and is well worth a visit. As you drive in you immediately go through the safari area. This takes about 20 minutes with the docile animals wandering freely and some larger ones behind safety wires / ditches. If you're looking for... More

Great safari route with plenty to see but the tigers and wolves in cages look fed up and could do with more space. Overall a good day out though.

Don't even bother to go here. We live near Longleat (in the UK) which shows exactly how well animals can be kept in captivity. This so-called 'safari' is a joke. Apart from a few ostriches and zebras which could roam about, most of the big animals were in very poorly designed and small enclosures. There was electric fencing everywhere and... More

Good fun for all the family. Great experience driving through the open area, with ostriches tapping at our car windows. Good photo opportunities and plenty to see. Playground and Canteen on site also.

The safari park is great (and you can drive round it twice if you find the little 'cut through' before you reach the exit gate, and the zoo area behind it is shady and pleasant. Some of the cages are too small for the animals (the reason I gave it 4/5) but there is a lot of building work at... More

I visited in July 2011. It was a small zoo, but the animals were in nice enclosures and obviously well-cared for. The "safari" drive is short, just a loop, but then the main zoo is well-laid out. A nice place to spend a few hours.

We visited on Sunday 20/5/12, it was a damp drizzling day and all of the animals were asleep, we drove through the safar part in 10 minutes !!!! What shocked me was the condition and general appearance of the whole of the zoo, looking very lack lustre and care worn. The animals that we could see looked a bit thin,... More
